Feedback from School Council representatives on Parents open morning.
Plans for after half term

Ronnie and Keeley fed back on the important job they did this morning showing prospective parents around the school. They said they felt proud talking about the school and had assured the new parents that it is a good school and children feel safe and happy, and that the teachers are kind!
Parents commented on how spacious the school is, they loved the library, the Collective Worship board, and the house point system.

Toilets have improved! 
Parking has not. Several members said that careless parking was worrying them.
We discussed what we should do and felt that one more warning should be given in the news letter and then if it doesn't improve we will have to involve the community police.

The meeting closed and Ronnie thanked everyone for coming.

Minutes of the meeting 5.10.15

Ronnie welcomed everyone and led the school prayer.

Update on Macmillan Coffee morning
Children in Need
Requests from classes

Ronnie reported we made £106. 97, so well done everyone.
Josie and Olivia looked up the date of Children in Need this year, Friday 13th November. We discussed various ideas for raising money: wrist bands, cake sale, unwanted toy sale, pyjama day, super hero day.
We will look into these ideas.

AOB.
Ronnie, Kieran and Riley are very concerned at the problem with the boys toilets at the moment. We discussed this at some length.
Action. We will design an appeal for KS2 Council reps to take back to their classes explaining our concerns and asking boys please to take responsibility because this issue is upsetting for everyone.
