Shoeboxes start their long journey!

Thank you to everyone for the amazing response to the shoebox appeal. We received more than we ever have before.

A big thank you to Fiona Lamb of BHS Poole who very kindly provided sacks of shoeboxes when we ran out!

Together we will really have made a big difference to many childrens lives this Christmas.

Well done everyone!!

Agenda.......... Anti bullying campaign

school council agree it would be a good idea to make a leaflet for children explaining what bullying is and what they should do if they feel they are being bullied. We discussed what we can do and what we can write and draw on the front cover and what information should be included.

This years theme is STOP and THINK words can hurt !

School council agreed they like the new ace points and consequences, but year 6 felt 4 warnings was a little too many for older children who should be behaving anyway!

Operation Christmas Child.

School council led an assembly launching the Shoe box appeal. Everyone was excited as we watched the DVD of children receiving their presents. This is something we can all do to make a real difference to children's lives.

Today we wrapped shoe boxes so that every class could have a box to fill.

It wasn't easy! But we got there in the end!
