Darcy and Gracie absent, evryone else present
The School Prayer
Agenda

  • Report for Governors
  • Children in Need Counting the money
We discussed the actions of School Council this year so far. We highlighted the impact the School Council is having on us, the school, the community and the wider world. It is clear that everyone on the Council feels proud to be representing the children's voice. All are keen to make a positive difference to the lives of others and feel they are benefiting personally by developing skills of listening, communicating, discussing, resolving problems and devising creative solutions and plans.
A report was compiled for the School governors.

AOB
Y5 School Council feel that the children's voice is often more influential than adults! Josie felt it would be a good idea to put messages from School Council in the School Newsletter. She would like the issues of head lice and parking to be addressed straight away.
Y5 Kieran has been saddened by the tragic events in Paris this weekend. He felt it would be nice to hold a minutes silence just to show solidarity with the people of France.
Y4 Would like to see a more developed buddy bench and quiet sitting area for playtime. Everyone was keen to produce posters for the Buddy Bench.

Finally Ronnie and Keeley counted out the Children in Need money and found we had raised an amazing £162.26.
