Minutes of the meeting 22.3.17

Everyone present.
Lois led the school prayer.
 Agenda
School Council have been approached as there is growing concern for the safety of our children due to traffic on Birch Avenue.

School Council agreed unanimously that we are worried for our safety.
The following incidents of dangerous driving have been witnessed;
  • parking on the yellow lines and zigzags
  • parking on the roundabout, on grass verges, pavements and across drives
  • Speeding
  • drivers trying to push past each other
Lois reminded everyone that we have made posters before but after a short time of improvement the problems have returned.
We discussed what we can do. We would like to make a bigger poster which could be laminated to protect it. A copy could be put into the newsletter to show how worried we really are.
We collected ideas for our poster and our digital experts started the poster.
